Soaking in the Remnants of Chautauqua

Today, we are preparing for departure.  I made a list of all the things we had to accomplish today:
First was to play Mini-Golf as soon as we were ready to leave the condo after having pancakes and sausage for breakfast.  It was very hot and humid today, so Mini-Golf was not a lot of fun weather-wise, though Kevin did not complain.  Kevin got a hole-in-one!  He did quite well with his game!

Daddy called before lunch, so we Skyped with him and Mommy!   It was cute to watch Daddy stare at Kevin with so much love in his eyes and missing his boy!

Next on our list was to go to the Craft Fair at Bestor Plaza, take Melanie to the two art galleries, and pick up the gifts we had purchased at the gallery gift shop.  There were lovely things at the Craft Fair, but not anything we needed in our budget.  We watched a weaver and she explained her work to Kevin.  As we chatted, I learned she moved to Wirt Township twenty years ago!!!!  Someone from my hometown area!!!

Kevin and I had not seen one of the galleries yet.  So many wonderful pieces to enjoy!  Melanie read some of the National Geographic Magazine which went along with the glorious underwater sea photos on display.

Melanie and Kevin returned his and my bikes while I worked on packing up our clothing.

Melanie babysat while Grandma went to choir rehearsal.  We met afterwards to go to the Amp for the opera tonight!!!  A magician was near the Amp and called Kevin over to see some of his coin tricks.
Kevin chose our seats making me move three times before he was settled.  He thoroughly enjoyed the performance (Lucia di Lammermoor).  At Intermission, Melanie learned her son Teo had swallowed something, perhaps a magnet, and was being taken to the hospital.  It was 10pm by then, and much too late for Kevin to stay up any longer anyway.
