The Decorator

This morning, Kevin cleared everything out of the dollhouses and started over. This time he took great pains to decorate each room appropriately. Not bad!!!! His Mommy Karin would be so proud!






Grampa complained about the stuff on our kitchen counter and wanted to know why we needed a Starbucks Barista bear on our kitchen counter. He is right. Why? Simply because what do you do with a gift of a *$ Barista Bear? So, I asked Kevin if he wanted it. He figured out a way to decorate with it! He put it in the arms of the Guinness-lookalike from Greg and Cathi (I think!). And adorned the bed with three specially folded Gankies!


Today is Canada's Civic Holiday. Doesn't mean much in this household as Grampa never stops working. But he did take time off for a movie -- "The Smurfs" in 3D. Kevin did a good deed: carried Grandma's purse into the theater.

Kevin loved the movie. Grampa and I snoozed some, though it was cute.
Late afternoon, Kevin and I decided to go swimming. Melanie and her family came too.
